Anonymous asked: (about Heart) Ok, that's cool! I was just wondering since they had some stuff in the 90's. But again, awesome blog. I love that you guys add all of the bands from that time, and not just the most well known.

No problem! I’m glad I was able to adequately answer your question. :-)

Thank you.

And we love you!

constant-lack-of-consistency asked: To the person that says that Foo Fighers were not formed in Seattle: Maybe you should do your homework. Dave was living in Seattle at the time and met Nate and Will of Sunny Day Real Estate after seeing them perform in Seattle. Dave liked them and they jammed at Will's house in Seattle and the rest is history.

It was probably an honest mistake which is perfectly okay!

However, you’re completely right.

Anonymous asked: First, LOVE this blog. Second, question. Would you count Heart in the 90's seattle since they released some albums in the 90's, or is this just for 90's bands that are more well known in the 90's or started in the 90's? I don't have anything Heart related to say and it doesn't make a difference to me if they aren't on the list, just wondering.

Thanks! This blog seems to get mixed reviews, haha.

I consider Heart an 80s band that continued to stay relevant throughout the 90s. This blog is for 90s bands that started (or were a part of) the Seattle Rock scene. I’ve thought about Heart before but decided I wouldn’t accept submissions for them. I’m pretty sure Roshni feels the same way as well or she would’ve said something! :-)

Anonymous asked: I feel like if the Foo Fighters confessions are being accepted on here then the Red Hot Chili Peppers should. If Foo Fighters are grunge then it means that RHCP is grunge

This is not a grunge bands confession blog. It’s for bands that formed in Seattle in the 90s.
